PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to direct the Principal District Court, Tiruvannamalai to dispose of the suit in OS No. 26 of 2017 pending on its file in a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvannamalai to dispose of the partition suit in O.S.No.26 of 2017, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. It is not in dispute that the respondents 1 to 4 herein/plaintiffs filed the above said suit for partition against the petitioners and in the suit, preliminary decree has been passed on 26.04.2024. Subsequently, the petitioners herein filed an application in I.A.No.8 of 2024 in O.S.No.26 of 2017 seeking final decree. In the said application, an Advocate Commissioner was appointed and he already filed a report and it is pending in enquiry stage. 2/4

3. Taking into consideration that the original suit was filed in the year 2017 and the Advocate Commissioner already filed his report in the final decree proceedings as early as on 14.07.2025, this court is inclined to direct the learned Principal District Judge, Tiruvannamalai to dispose of I.A.No.8 of 2024 in O.S.No.26 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed. There shall be no order as to costs.
