ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to reclassify the petitioners' lands, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, as their private lands instead of Government lands in the revenue records.

2. The petitioners claim that they initially purchased the subject property from one Mr.Mohd. Khan, who acquired the same through an assignment order executed by the Government. According to the petitioners, arbitrarily, now, the subject lands have been classified as Government lands. The petitioners seek for restoration of the said lands as private lands in the revenue records, and they had given a representation to the respondents to reclassify the subject lands as private lands. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and on instructions, he submits that the petitioners' representation is under consideration by the respondents and that final orders will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. __________Page 2 of 4

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if a direction is given to them to pass final orders, on the representation dated 06.10.2025 submitted by the petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders on the representation dated 06.10.2025 submitted by the petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the documents filed along with their representation dated 06.10.2025, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs.
