ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the official respondents to take action against the illegal construction put up by the fourth respondent, which is adjacent to the petitioner's property, affecting his right to access air, light etc.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the second respondent, on advance instructions, would submit that taking cognizance of the complaint made by the petitioner, inquiry has been initiated and notice has been issued to the fourth respondent on 18.11.2025 to produce documents like layout, patta and approved plan; whereafter, the authority shall bring the inquiry to its logical conclusion after due examination, within a reasonable period.

3. In view of the statement so made by learned counsel for the second respondent, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending. Accordingly, the petition is disposed with a direction to the respondents to conclude the inquiry one way or the other, within a period of three months. There will be no order as to costs.
