The petitioners are respondents in M.C.No.30 of 2014 that has been filed by H.Dahasila Banu before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Mailaduthurai, under the provisions of the Domestic Violence Act, claiming certain reliefs. It appears that the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Mailaduthurai has granted certain reliefs in M.C.No.30 of 2014 on 28.08.2017. On coming to know of it, the petitioners filed a set aside application which has been returned on 05.03.2018 by the learned Magistrate, challenging which this petition has been filed.

2.Heard Mr.A.Saranraj, learned counsel for the petitioners.

3.In the opinion of this Court, under Section 29 of the Domestic Violence Act, the appeal will lie only before the Sessions Court and there is no provision for setting aside an order.

4.Hence, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
