Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 5 to conduct a detailed enquiry and re-classify the government land into Panchami Land, and distribute the same to the eligible persons belong to Scheduled Castes, pursuant to the petitioner representation dated 23.02.2022 and reminder representation dated 01.11.2025 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioner has filed this petition seeking to challenge the decision of the State to re-classify the land as government land. According to petitioner, in the revenue records of 1929, the land was stated as one reserved for depressed class people.

2. In the entire petition, no averment of fact is made as to when the land was re-classified as government land and under what proceedings. All these information could have been obtained under the Right to Information Act. Without making proper research, this half baked petition has been filed, which does not warrant indulgence.

3. With liberty to file proper petition, this petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
