The Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed to forbear the third respondent from interfering in the civil dispute relating to the property 1/4

admeasuring 4 Acres and 50 Cents comprised in Survey No.50/1, situated at Amaanikaalipatti Viallage, Omalur Taluk, Salem District. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), who takes notice on behalf of respondents, submitted that based on the complaint dated 23.08.2025 made by one Kumaresan as against the petitioner, an enquiry is being conducted in C.No.218/COP/ACP/CCB/2025 and the respondent police will not interfere in the civil dispute. However, in the event of any cognizable offence being made out based on the complaint, the respondent will be entitled to proceed further.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands closed. However, the respondents/police are directed to dispose of the complaint made by the said Kumaresan as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from today. No costs. 18.12.2025 srm 2/4
