The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was abused and humiliated on account of religion by the Custom Intelligence II Officer on 03.01.2025. The petitioner had initially filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.1662 of 2025 under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C/ Section175(3) of BNSS, to issue a direction to the Inspector of Police to register the First Information Report, which was dismissed on the ground that without approaching the Inspector of Police, the petitioner had straightaway filed the said petition. Thereafter, a complaint was given before the Commissioner of Police, Chennai on 17.04.2025. Since no action was taken, the petitioner had again filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.3782 of 2025 under Sections 156(3) of Cr.P.C/175(3) of BNSS on 16.07.2025. Alleging that the said petition has been repeatedly adjourned, the present petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the same at the earliest.
3.
Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Alandur, is directed to dispose of the petition in Crl.M.P.No.3782 of 2025 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
