ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to sub divide the property, based on the Settlement Deed dated 03.02.2014 executed in favour of the petitioner for the property, morefully
described in the prayer to this writ petition and issue patta in favour of the petitioner, based on the petitioner's online application dated 02.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.The petitioner claims ownership of the property, based on the Settlement Deed dated 03.02.2014 registered as Doc.No.938 of 2014 on the file of the SRO, Thirupattur, said to have been executed by his father. The petitioner seeks for sub division of the property, based on the aforesaid Settlement Deed and he also seeks for issuance of separate patta in his name. He has submitted an online application with the respondents on 02.12.2025 seeking for sub division and for issuance of separate patta in his name. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's online application, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners if any and any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's online application dated 02.12.2025 seeking for sub division of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition and for issuance of separate patta in his name pursuant to the Settlement Deed dated 03.02.2014 executed in his favour, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing objections of the neighbouring land owners if any and any other third party whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire. No costs.
