The Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2025. 1/4

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), who takes notice on behalf of respondent, submitted that the petitioner has sent the representation dated 28.11.2025 to the Inspector of Police, P-6, Kodungaiyur Police Station, whereas, the authority concerned is only the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Puliyanthoppu and in the event of the petitioner giving a fresh representation to the said authority, it will be considered and appropriate orders passed on the same within a period of six weeks.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh representation to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Puliyanthoppu, forthwith and within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Puliyanthoppu, shall consider and pass orders on the same.

This Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
