Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal APPEAL No.588 OF 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed against the petitioner in S.C.No.118 of 2014 on the file of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram (Fast Track Mahila Court) Vellore, Vellore District dated 27.03.2018 and enlarge the petitioner on bail pending disposal of the said Crl.A.No.588 of 2018.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.588 of 2018 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of MR.E.KANNADASAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MRS.V.SARATHA DEVI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This miscellaneous petition has been filed to suspend the sentence passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram (Fast Track Mahila Court), Vellore, Vellore District in S.C.No.118/2014, dated 27.03.2018.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner/accused-2 is a father-in-law of the victim woman and he had sexual misbehavior with her. Therefore, she prayed for dismissal of this miscellaneous petition.

4. Considering the gravity of the offence and the submissions of the Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for in this miscellaneous petition and the same is dismissed.
