When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the petitioner is a named accused in Crime No.313 of 2022, registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, for illegal possession of commercial quantity of narcotic substances. He further submitted that the petitioner was not harassed during the investigation and that his presence is required for further investigation.
