When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that, during the pendency of the appeal, the appellant had paid the entire demand amount, which was appropriated and the file was closed. The said submissions of the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent was not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the appellant. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

3. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
