R.Sabeeha Anjum got married to Salam Abdul Razack on 22.09.1996 and they have two children through the marriage. On account of some minor misunderstandings, R.Sabeeha Anjum has initiated proceedings in D.V.C.No.46 of 2018 before the Mahila Court, Magisterial level, Egmore, Chennai, for quashing which Salam Abdul Razack is before this Court.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for Salam Abdul Razack submitted that Salam Abdul Razack is ready and willing to live with his wife, but it is his mother-in-law (mother of R.Sabeeha Anjum) who is doing everything that is possible to keep the spouse separated. He further contended that if the parties are referred to the Mediation Center, there is every possibility of they arriving at a settlement.
3.Recording the same, this Court directs the Mahila Court, Magisterial level, Egmore, Chennai to refer the parties in D.V.C.No.46 of 2018 to the local Mediation Center for them to arrive at a settlement. Thereafter, if they are not able to arrive at a settlement, the Trial Court shall complete the proceedings in D.V.C.No.46 of 2018 expeditiously. 4.With the above observation, this petition is closed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
