By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to give promotion to the post of Junior Assistant from the post of Record Clerk to the petitioners after giving age relaxation to the petitioners. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted 2/4
that the petitioners are employed as Record Clerk and they are entitled to get promotion to the post of Junior Assistant, however, their names have not been forwarded to the panel for promotion to the post of Junior Assistant. In this regard, the petitioners made representation to the respondents on 25.11.2025, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representation made on 25.11.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.
4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners representation made on 25.11.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
