ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to issue Legal Heirship Certificate in respect of her deceased husband, namely Manoharan, by considering her representation dated 08.07.2025.

2.Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that, as per G.O. (Ms) No.478, Revenue & Disaster Management, Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2) Section, dated 29.09.2022, the petitioner has to apply electronically online to the Tahsildar in whose jurisdiction the deceased person ordinarily resided before his/her death. A copy of the said Government Order is produced before this Court. He would submit that, if any such online application is made, the respondent will consider the same and pass orders. 3.In such view of the matter, let the petitioner make her application for issuance of Legal Heirship Certificate in respect of her deceased husband, online, by enclosing all necessary documents as per the guidelines issued in G.O.(Ms) No.

478, Revenue & Disaster Management, Revenue Administration Wing, RA-3(2) Section, dated 29.09.2022. If any such online application is made by the petitioner, the respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
