Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2025 seeking to survey the petitioner's land in survey No.207/1A1A 207/1B1B Sikkanpatty Village Harur Taluk, Dharmapuri District and issue patta to the petitioner. Order This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by her, based on her representation dated 18.10.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner had submitted a representations dated 18.10.2025 seeking for survey and demarcation of the property morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition. Since the said representations has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom, the second respondent deems fit to 2 / 4
enquire. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party, whom, the second respondent deems fit to enquire.
b) After receiving objections, if any, and after considering the same, the second respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully descried in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
No Costs.
