This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.19 of 2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.19 of 2017 on 23.01.2017 under Sections 147, 341, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC read with Section 4 of TNPHW Act. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.19 of 2017, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure report as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any legal impediment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
