ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(b), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.719 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in illegal possession of 3 kgs of Ganja, 268 grams of OG Ganja. Hence, the case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that only on confession of A1 to A4, the petitioner has been arrayed as an accused; and that the petitioner has no previous case. Therefore, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and relying on the statements recorded from the other accused submitted that the petitioner is the major supplier of various kinds of Narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances such as MDMA, LSD Stamps and OG Ganja etc., and the investigation in this case is pending.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

6.Considering the fact that the petitioner is the major supplier of various kinds of Narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, investigation in this case is pending and also the fact that the petitioner is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
