ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to include Survey No.181/1A2A in the computerized (online) patta No.1772, standing in the name of the petitioner, for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent. He would submit that the representative of the petitioner as prayed for in this writ petition can be considered only by Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) (Chennai South).

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh representation to RDO (Chennai South) seeking for the prayer as sought for in this writ petition.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the RDO (Chennai South) seeking for inclusion of Survey No.181/1A2A in the computerized (online) patta No.1772 standing in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and a direction is also issued to the said RDO to consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chennai South seeking for inclusion of Survey No.181/1A2A in the computerized (online) patta No.1772 standing in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. receipt of the said representation, the said RDO shall dispose of the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the documents filed along with the said representation, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.

7. Since the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chennai South is not a party respondent in this writ petition, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chennai South is suo-motu impleaded as 2nd respondent in this writ petition. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent as well. Registry is directed to carryout the necessary amendments in the cause title and thereafter, issue order copies to the respective counsels.

8. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
