O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, directing the respondents herein to give back the petitioner's C.P.S. Account Amount No.900469 with interest and disburse the same within a reasonable stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was working as Office Assistant in the 4th respondent Office and retired from service on 30.04.2023, on attaining the age of superannuation. However, after retirement, the petitioner's service was regularized with effect from the year 1999 and he was paid under the old pension scheme. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to disburse the C.P.S. amount by way of representation dated

08.11.2025. Since no order was passed, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's C.P.S. amount will be disbursed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the same, the respondents are directed to refund the petitioner's C.P.S. amount, less the amount if any already paid, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is dispose of with the above terms. No costs. 18.12.2025 NCC: Yes / No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No kkn
