ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the respondent herein to process and dispose of the petitioner's application seeking for issuance of Environmental Clearance vide Application No.SIA/TN/INFRA2/507084/2024, dated 23.11.2024 within an expeditious time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. This matter was mentioned by pointing out urgency in the sense that the meeting of the respondent authority is ongoing today and tomorrow i.e., on 20.01.2026.

3. The learned Counsel on either side would submit that the proposal can be considered in accordance with law by the respondent even in the meeting that is taking place tomorrow (20.01.2026).

4. In view thereof, this Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms:- (i) The respondent shall take up the application of the petitioner, dated 23.11.2024 bearing registration No.SIA/TN/INFRA2/507084/2024 for consideration thereon as far as possible in the tomorrow (20.01.2026) 2/4

meeting and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law; (ii) The authorities shall act on web-copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order;

(iii) There shall be no order as to costs.
