ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application bearing No.2000957811252932 dated 28.11.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he has constructed a residential house in an unobjectionable natham poramboke land and is regularly paying property tax. On 28.11.2025, the petitioner has submitted an application to the second respondent seeking grant of low tension domestic electricity service connection to his property. However, the said application has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready and willing to execute an indemnity bond in favour of the respondent Electricity Board.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that upon execution of indemnity bond by the petitioner and payment of necessary charges, the electricity service connection would be effected.

5. The statement of the learned Standing Counsel is recorded.

6. In such view of the matter, let the petitioner execute indemnity bond before the second respondent. Upon execution of such bond and payment of necessary charges, the second respondent shall provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's property.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
