ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to settle the amount towards the Encashment of Earned Leaves, Surrendered by the petitioners along with 12 percentage p.a. within a time frame.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioners were appointed in the respondents Transport Corporation and after completion a length of years of service with them, they were retired from service on reaching age of superannuation. Though the petitioners were retire from service very long back, the petitioners terminal benefits were not settled immediately after their retirement and their terminal benefits are settled in delay and the respondents did not pay the amount payable towards the encashment of earned leaves, surrendered by them. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 06.10.2025 and 17.10.2025 to the respondents to settle the amount towards the encashment of earned leaves, surrendered by the petitioners along with 12% interest per annum and the same is not considered. Hence the present writ petition has filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representations within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representations will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials

available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 06.10.2025 and 17.10.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
