O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2025 and 28.07.2025 and consequently direct them to settle the terminal benefits to the petitioner as per law.

2. Mr.K.Surendran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioner retired from service as Junior Assistant in the 1st respondent department on 31.08.2024. Since, his terminal benefits were not settled, the petitioner submitted his representation dated 23.05.2025 and 28.07.2025 to the respondents seeking disbursement of the same. As the said representations have not been considered, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2025 and 28.07.2025 and disburse the terminal benefits to the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that, for disbursement of the terminal benefits, the petitioner shall be directed to submit the duly signed CPS form and that upon receipt of the same, the terminal benefits of the petitioner will be disbursed to the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the petitioner is directed to submit the duly signed CPS form to the respondents within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to settle the terminal benefits to the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks thereafter.

7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
