ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, based on her application, dated 12.01.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner claims that she is the owner of the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition and she also claims that she is in possession of the same. She seeks issuance of patta in her name and for that purpose, she had submitted an application on 12.01.2024 with the 3rd respondent. Since the said application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and on instructions, he would submit that since the petitioner is not in possession of the property, there is some delay in considering the petitioner's application. However, on instructions, he would submit that after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners and the persons, who are in possession of the Page No.2 of 5
property, petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law, after holding an enquiry, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application dated 12.01.2024.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the 3rd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application dated 12.01.2024 seeking issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners, and also the persons, who are in possession of the property as well as any other party, whom the 3rd respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
