ORDER
1. Heard.
2. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed by the petitioner/wife seeking transfer of H.M.O.P. No.112 of 2025 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Neyveli, to the file of the Sub Court, Tiruvarur.
3. The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 01.02.2024 at Arulmigu Deepanchanachiyyar Temple, Sethiayathoopu, Boothankudi, Kumbakonam Main Road, as per Hindu rites and customs.
4. The case of the petitioner is that she is residing with her aged parents at Thiruvarur District and she has no independent source of income. According to her, it is very difficult for her to travel and attend the proceedings at Neyveli for every hearing. She has stated that she has to travel about 240 kms on each hearing date and she cannot travel alone and requires accompaniment, which causes additional financial strain.

Considering the nature of the matrimonial proceedings, the distance involved, and the hardship pleaded by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the balance of convenience lies in favour of the petitioner. No serious prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the proceedings are transferred to the Sub Court, Tiruvarur. Therefore, this Court finds it fit to allow the transfer petition.

6. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P.
No.1381 of is allowed.
H.M.O.P. No.112 of 2025 on the file of the Sub Court, Neyveli, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Tiruvarur.The Sub Court, Neyveli, shall transmit the entire records to the Sub Court, Tiruvarur, within three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of this order and the Sub Court, Tiruvarur shall dispose of the matter in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, uninfluenced by any observations made in this order. Connected C.M.P. No. 32250 of 2025 is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
