ORDER
Lands owned by the petitioner were acquired under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and the compensation in respect thereof was paid to the petitioner. Upon coming to know that the compensation in respect of the lands covered under the same notification was enhanced pursuant to the judgment dated 29.01.2024 in L.A.O.P.No.267 of 2023, the petitioner asserts that she had submitted an application dated 24.04.2024 under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act. The early disposal of such application is requested for in this writ petition.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies upon a communication dated 17.05.2024 from the District Collector as evidence for the submission of the application under Section 28A within the prescribed time limit.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3. He submits that the petitioner's application would be considered and disposed of by the first respondent within six weeks.
4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated __________Page 2 of 4
24.04.2024 within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
