ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking modification of the conditions 4(a) and 4(b) imposed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.18629 of 2025 in Crl.A.No.889 of 2024 dated 17.10.2025, which reads as follows:

(a) the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only), to the credit of Spl.S.C.No.37 of 2023 Learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram FTMC, Erode within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (b) the petitioner/accused is ordered to be released on bail, on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties (out of which one must be a blood related surety) each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram FTMC, Erode.

2. Though this Court had suspended the sentence imposed on the petitioner on 17.10.2025, the petitioner is yet to be released, as, according to him, he is unable to deposit the sum of Rs.50,000/- as directed by this Court, and he is unable to furnish two sureties worth Rs.25,000 (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only), of which one should be a blood surety; and that the petitioner's mother and sister are willing to stand as sureties.

3. Considering the request made by the petitioner, the amount directed to be deposited by this Court in condition no. 4(a) in Crl.M.P.No.18629 of 2025 in Crl.A.No.889 of 2024 dated 17.10.2025 is reduced to Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only).

4. As regards the condition No. 4(b), the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only), and the two sureties shall be his mother and sister. The learned Judge may accept them as sureties and shall not insist on their worth. The time for depositing Rs.25,000/- is extended by two weeks.
