Civil Revision Petitions are filed to set aside the orders passed by the National Company Law Tribunal Division Bench, Court -II, in IA(I.B.C) no.1897 (CHE) of 2025 in IA.No.1372 of 2025 and IA(I.B.C) No.1896 (CHE) of 2025 in I.A.No.1160 of 2025 in IBA 1423 of 2019 dated 25.11.2025.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that it would be suffice, if a direction is issued to National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to dispose of the interlocutory applications considering the fact that the 1st petitioner is a senior citizen and aged about 86 years. 2 / 5
3. No doubt, the submission made on behalf of the petitioners deserves some attention. However, this Court is conscious that a mere direction to dispose of petition by fixing a time limit would equally cause some inconvenience to the Presiding Officer, and every Court is expected to consider the matters on its Board, considering the nature of urgency and by giving priority to senior citizens like that of the petitioner, who is now aged about 86 years and all other mitigating factors and circumstances. Therefore, blanket direction issued by the Courts fixing time line to dispose of the cases would do no service to the cause of justice, but may result in causing inconvenience to the Court concerned. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners and also considering the age of the senior citizen in the present case, this Court requests the NCLT to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible.
4. With the above observations, Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed.
