This petition is filed to condone the delay of 1517 days in filing the C.M.A to the award dated 30.07.2013 and made in MACTOP.No.266 of 2011 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal and IV Additional and Sessions District Judge, Coimbatore.

2.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

3.The Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.102404 of 2017, if the papers are otherwise in order.

4.It is underscored that in the eventuality of the appellants succeeding in the appeal to be taken on record, they would not be entitled to any interest for 1517 days.
