ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct respondent herein to revise/refix the 1/5

wages of the petitioner herein from 01.05.1993 on par with his Juniors G.Krishnasamy and P.Varadhan and consequently pay the difference in arrears of pay by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 03.12.2025.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Non ITI Helper Trainee on 10.04.1989 and his service was regularized with effect from 01.05.1993. Later, he was dismissed from service. Challenging the said dismissal, the petitioner raised disputed in I.D.No.158 of 2004, wherein, the Court Below directed the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service with continuity of service, without back wages. Pursuant thereto, the respondent directed the petitioner to enter into a settlement to join as fresh entrant. Against which, the petitioner filed writ petition in W.P.No.3 of 2018 and this Court vide order dated 23.06.2022 set aside the order of settlement and directed the respondent to implement the award of Labour Court. Though the petitioner's service was regularized from 2/5

01.05.1993, his scale of pay was not revised on par with his juniors viz., G.Krishnasamy and P.Varadhan. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation dated 03.12.2025 to revise his salary from 01.05.1993. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court, issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2025, as expeditiously as possible.

5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that, the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the 3/5

petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stand disposed of. No costs.
