ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "calling for the records on the file of the 1st Respondent relating to the impugned order bearing Reference PDY/CG/23/2025 dated 11.11.2025 passed by the 1st Respondent quash the same as arbitrary and illegal and consequently direct Respondents 2 and 3 to forthwith disconnect and cancel the electricity service connection effected in favour of the 5th Respondent in respect of Plot Nos.342 and 343 Re-Survey No.178/1 Murugapakkam Revenue Village, Puducherry."
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for respondents 1 to 4. The 5th respondent though served has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel
3. Admittedly, the impugned order has been passed without issuing any notice and affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Therefore, the Writ Petition is allowed. The impugned order is set aside and the matter is remitted back to the 1st respondent for fresh consideration. The 1st respondent shall pass a speaking order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to all the interest parties, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
