ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to VII Additional Family Court to complete the trial and dispose of HMOP.No.1128 of 2023 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner/ husband filed HMOP.No.1128 of 2023 seeking divorce on the ground of cruelty.

3. A perusal of the e-court status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the counter of the respondent was filed as early as 30.10.2023. It is also seen that the petitioner filed his proof affidavit and exhibits P1 to P5 were marked on 26.12.2023. Thereafter, there is no progress in the main OP for the past two years. The original petition is still in the stage of PW1 cross.

4. Taking into consideration the trial in the OP was commenced two years back and PW1 was also examined-in-chief, this Court is inclined to direct the VII Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the main OP as expeditiously as possible.
