ORDER
This writ petition is filed to direct respondent to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on 17.11.2025 and dated 09.12.2025 to grant promotion to the petitioner as Assistant which had fallen vacant in the respondent Co-operative Society.
2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Sales Man in the respondent's Cooperative Society Limited on 08.05.2009 on compassionate grounds. Under these circumstances, three vacancies arose for the post of Assistant in the respondent society. Therefore, the petitioner submitted his representation dated 17.11.2025 and 09.12.2025 to the respondent, seeking promotion to the post of Assistant. However, the said representations were not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court, issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 17.11.2025 & 09.12.2025, as expeditiously as possible.
5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submits that, the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 & 09.12.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
7. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 & 09.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stand disposed of. No costs.
