Mr.S.Madhusuthanan Standing counsel COMMON ORDER These Contempt petitions have been filed for the wilful disobedience of the order passed in WMP Nos.35319 and 35686 of 2025 in WP Nos.31534 and 31867 of 2025 dated 25.08.2025. 2.
The learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent was inclined to comply with the order passed by this Court by restoring the service connection subject to the petitioners depositing a sum of Rs.4,50,000/-. However, the petitioners were refusing to pay the monthly minimum charges.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondent was insisting for double the amount than what was fixed by this Court.

In the considered view of this Court, the amount payable by the petitioners has been fixed as Rs.4,50,000/- by this Court. The same has to be paid by the petitioners and on receipt of the same, the respondent will restore the service connection. Apart from that, the petitioner will also pay the monthly minimum charges calculated and demanded by the respondent. 5.
With the above directions, both these contempt petitions are closed. No costs.
