The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2025 seeking police protection for surveying her land in T.S.No. 530/1.
Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for respondents 1 to 4 and with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this W.P.(Crl.) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with inasmuch as no order prejudiced to his interest is passed.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the petitioner's representation has been received by the 2nd respondent and during the enquiry, it was found that there is a boundary dispute between the petitioner and the 5th respondent. He further submitted that, if the Tahsildar fixes a date for surveying the property, necessary police protection will be provided.

Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and with the observation that police protection shall be provided on the request made by the Tahsildar for conducting the survey, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs. 18.12.2025 rpl To 1.
