MOHAMMED SHAFFIQ,J When the matter is taken up, learned Special Government Pleader for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the tax case and a memo for withdrawal dated 03.01.2023 has also been filed, which reads thus:

"It is submitted that we have preferred Tax Case Revision against the orders passed by the Tamil Nadu Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal (Additional Bench), Chennai - 600 104 in STA No. 66 of 2011 dated 27.12.2013. In the meantime, the orders passed in STA No.123 of 2005dated 27.12.2013 was accepted by the Commercial Taxes Department.

In the above circumstances, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble High Court may be pleased to permit the petitioner to withdraw the above Tax Case Revision in T.C.S.R. No. 63707 of 2014 against STA No. 66 of 2011 dated 27.12.2013..."

In view of the memo dated 03.01.2023, the tax case is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
