There is a suit pending initiated by the 2nd respondent in O.S. No. 55 of 2024 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kallakurichi.

2. The plea of the petitioner is that the documents relied upon by the 2nd respondent are forged. The 2nd respondent, being a Statutory Authority under the Town and Country Planning Act, has no jurisdiction to adjudicate upon or to grant any declaration as to whether such documents are forged or genuine. It is for the petitioner to establish that the documents relied by the 2nd respondent are forged, on the basis of which the respondents claim to have acted, before the jurisdictional civil court. Once he gets such a declaration from the jurisdictional Civil Court, it is open to him to produce the same before the 1st respondent and get appropriate orders in accordance with law.
