Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 10.10.2025 and direct the respondents to remove all illegal encroachments made by respondent 5 to 11 in the government odai Poramboke land situated between Survey Nos.81,82,84,85, and 124 of Kandadu Village, Marakkanam Taluk Villupuram District, and to restore the odai Poramboke to its Original condition with reference to the FMB Sketch and other revenue records to identify and demarcate the encroached portions. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) In response to the allegation of encroachment, learned State Counsel, upon instructions, refers to the status report filed by the fourth respondent and submits that survey was conducted and many encroachments have been found and action has been initiated. He further submits that even the petitioner has been found to be an encroacher.

2. Taking into consideration that action has already been initiated and further taking into consideration that the petitioner himself is found to be an encroacher, we are not inclined to proceed further.

3. The writ petition stands closed. There will be no order as to costs.
