RR1&R2 - Dismissed Vide Court order dated 19/12/2023 (in both appeals) COMMON JUDGMENT These Civil Miscellaneous Appeals have been filed to set aside the award and decree dated 28.03.2014 made in M.C.O.P.No.544 of 2013 and M.C.O.P.No.543 of 2013 on the file of The Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Principal District Judge, Krishnagiri respectively.
2. In these appeals, since no steps were taken by the appellant to comply with the service of notice on the respondents, this Court, by order dated 19.12.2023, had granted time till 03.01.2024, failing which the Civil Miscellaneous Appeals would stand dismissed without further reference to the Court.
3. As no batta has been filed and no steps were taken by the learned counsel for the appellant despite repeated adjournments, there was no necessity to retain the matters on the file of this Court. Accordingly, both the Civil Miscellaneous Appeals stand dismissed, with liberty to the appellant to restore the same within a reasonable period of time. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
