ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay difference in leave salary, difference in gratuity and pension arrears with 10 percentage interest as per 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022 to the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner joined in the service of the respondent Corporation as Conductor on 08.05.1987. The petitioner has rendered nearly 35 years of continuous service. At the time of retirement, he was holding the post of Special Grade Conductor. He retired on 30.06.2022. After retirement the respondent settled terminal benefits based on salary paid. 14th settlement benefit was not extended to the petitioner. Claiming the difference in gratuity, leave salary and difference in pension, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
