ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on his application, dated 15.05.2019, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Since the aforesaid application of the petitioner seeking transfer of patta has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's application as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners, and also any other party, whom they deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application, dated 15.05.2019 seeking transfer of patta in his name for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
