By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the suspension order issued by the respondent dated 03.12.2025 in proceeding No.BU/R/Sus/RG/2025, quash the same as arbitrary and illegal by considering petitioner reply dated 05.12.2025. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner started her service at the respondent University as a Reader on 18.01.2008 and became Assistant Professor and Professor through Carrier Advancement Scheme of University Grants Commission and she was given with an opportunity to serve as Registrar (incharge) from 07.02.2024 to 13.08.2025 and thereafter joined the parent department and continued as Director from 14.08.2025 to 22.11.2025 and was forced to join as a Professor till 02.12.2025 and the petitioner was suspended from service vide order dated 03.12.2025. The learned counsel further submitted that the 2/4
petitioner made representation dated 05.12.2025 to the respondent seeking revocation of suspension, however, there is no response. Hence, this Court may without going into the merits of the case, issue direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame.
4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of.
