ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to upload the cancellation order dated 05/07/2025 relating to Legal Heir Certificate TN-7202310141145 and TN-7202310141154 and remove the legal heir certificates from the official Government website and consequently take appropriate actions against the Authorities involved for forgery, fraud and conspiracy.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that despite the legal heir certificate issued to one Sekar has been cancelled by the Revenue Divisional Officer in Na.Ka.No.4/1287/2025 dated 05.07.2025, the cancellation order has not been uploaded in the respondents official portal. 3.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the 1st respondent has cancelled the legal heir certificated as per the G.O.(Ms.)478, Revenue and Disaster
Management Department, dated 29.09.2022 and the same should have been uploaded in the portal.
4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
5.Considering the submissions made by either parties, it is evident that though the cancellation of legal heir certificate has been ordered as early as on 05.07.2025, till date the cancellation order has not been uploaded in the portal. Thus, the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar is directed to upload the said cancellation order dated 05.07.2025 passed by the 1st respondent in the official portal as expeditiously as possible, not later than one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided, if there is no stay of the cancellation by the Appellate Authority or by the Court.
