ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025 on merits and pass orders on merits in the light of the recommendation of 6th Pay Commission as well as One Man Commission for revision of payscale Rs.9,300/- -R.34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4,200/- along with consequential arrears payable to the petitioner
2. Mr.U.Umakanth, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. The petitioner was appointed as Junior Assistant on 12.05.1994 in the Nachiappa Institute of Cooperative Management which was later merged with Tamil Nadu Cooperative Union. Subsequently, he was promoted as Selection Grade in the year 2004 and thereafter as Special Grade Junior Assistant in the year 2014. However, the revised scale of pay as per the 6th pay commission dated 08.11.2010 has not been extended to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 24.07.2025 to the respondent seeking payment of arrears payable to the petitioner. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2025 and pass orders on the same on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and to any other interested parties.
7. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.

This matter has been listed under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that the name of the petitioner in the preamble portion is wrongly typed and further, the initial of the learned counsel for the respondents has been typed as "U" instead of "V". Further in paragraph 6 of the order dated 19.12.2025, though the representation of the petitioner is dated 24.07.2025, which has been wrongly mentioned as 04.04.2025. Accordingly, he submitted that direction may be issued to make the aforesaid corrections and issue fresh order copy.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for the same.
4. In such view of the matter, the name of the petitioner which shown as "S.Chinnapillai" shall stand replaced as "C.Ravi" in the cause title. Further, the initial of the learned counsel for the respondents which shown as "U" shall stand
corrected as "V". Further, the date of the petitioner's representation, which is shown as 04.04.2025 in the order shall stand replaced as "24.07.2025".
5. The Registry is directed to carry out the aforesaid corrections and issue fresh order copy to the parties concerned.
All the other observations made in the earlier order dated 19.12.2025 shall remain unaltered.
