O R D E R

The present Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to take necessary action on the petitioner's complaint dated 15.09.2025.

Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3. Notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with inasmuch as no order prejudicial to his interest is passed. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had lodged a complaint against the fourth respondent on 15.09.2025. Though the complaint was registered in C.S.R.No.475 of 2025, no further progress was made in the matter. Therefore, the present petition has been filed.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 15.09.2025, an enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.475 of 2025. He further submitted that the third respondent police have completed the enquiry and finding that the dispute between the petitioner and the counter party was civil in nature, closed the complaint. 6.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands closed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law.
