Writ Petition (Criminal) is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to give police protection for removal of bushes in the petitioner's property situated in S.F.Nos.45/10, Narasothipatti Village, Salem District, as per the complaints of the petitioner dated 22.09.2024 and 14.02.2025. O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to provide police protection for removal of bushes in the petitioner's property situtated in S.F.No.45/10, Narasothipatti Village, Salem District 1/4

based on the complaints dated 22.09.2024 and 14.02.2025 given by the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police submits that this is a case of case and counter case. He further submits that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the second respondent and on the basis of the complaints dated 22.09.2024 and 14.02.2025 given by the petitioner and a counter complaint given by the second respondent, enquiry has been conducted in C.S.R.Nos.778 and 779 of 2024 and the same has been closed as the dispute is civil in nature.

3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this writ petition (criminal) is closed. No costs. 09.01.2026 rap 2/4
