ORDER

This Writ Petition (Crl.) has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and the revenue authorities for survey of the land of the petitioner by metes and bounds and for fencing the lands of the petitioner by considering her representation dated 12.07.2025.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 12.07.2025 to the 2nd respondent seeking police protection for conducting survey, since the respondents 3 and 4 are objecting for survey; but so far, no effective action has been taken by them. Hence, she had filed this Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that based on the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry is conducted in CSR No. 485 of 2025. Finding that there was a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4, the petition enquiry has been closed as civil in nature. However, he would further submit that if the jurisdictional Tahsildar fixes a date for survey and requests for police protection, due police protection will be given after issuing notice to rival parties.

4. Recording his submissions, the petitioner shall give an application requesting for survey of the land to the Tahsildar concerned and if the Tahsildar concerned seeks police protection, the local police/2nd respondent shall provide adequate police protection.

5. With the said observation, this Writ Petition (Crl.) stands disposed of. No costs.
