ORDER

This Writ Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking an extension of time stipulated in the interim order passed by this Court in W.P.No.23979 of 2019 dated 03.11.2025, and to accept the counter affidavit filed by the respondents.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, in compliance with the order of this Court dated 03.11.2025, the counter affidavit was filed before the Registry. However, the Registry returned the counter affidavit with an endorsement stating that a copy of the counter affidavit had not been served on the other side. The learned counsel further submitted that the copy of the counter affidavit has already been served on the other side in open Court and was received by the other side with due endorsement to that effect.

3. Thereafter, the petitioners re-presented the counter affidavit and prayed for an extension of time for filing counter and for acceptance of the same.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this court is inclined to allow the petition. Accordingly, the counter affidavit filed by the petitioners is taken on record.

5. Registry is directed to accept the counter affidavit.
