CMP.Nos.17861, 17866, 17870 and 17872 of 2018 in CRP.NPD.Nos.1348 to 1351 of 2005 S.BASKARAN, J., The petitioner has come forward with the above petitions seeking to set aside the order of dismissal dated 27.07.2012 passed in CRP.Nos.1348 to 1351 of 2005 of 2005 and restore the same on file.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, these Civil Revision Petitions were listed on 27.07.2012 and on that day, his counsel was not in town, due to that there was no representation. The learned counsel for the petitioner was not in Chennai due to other professional commitments on 24.07.2012 to 30.11.2012; only because of that neither petitioner nor the counsel was present on the hearing date.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that he is always ready to contest the matter on merits. His absence on 27.07.2012 was only in the circumstances stated above. Already petitions to condone the delay of 2017 days in filing the petition to set aside the order of dismissal is entertained by the Court. Hence, the petitioner seeks to set aside the order of dismissal passed in Civil Revision Petition, so as to enable him to contest the CRP on merits.

4. Mr.P.B.Balaji, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents and he has no serious objection to entertain the petitions.

5. Considering the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner and that the delay in filing the petitions was already condoned by this Court and both sides are ready to contest the matter on merits, it will be appropriate to give an opportunity to the petitioner to put forth the case on merits. Further, the reasons stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner being reasonable, this Court is inclined to entertain the petition.
